This is another card using Ally's great sketch and the tent topper tutorial. I was inspired by the colors in today's SNSS Love Fest Challenge photo inspiration. What better way to include the special ingredient of "love" than a baby card. I had seen this cute maternity shirt and had also pinned a technique that I wanted to try around the edge of my circle. I die cut and embossed the edge of my circle then stamped off my Strawberry Slush ink to stamp my feet. I then took my white marker to doodle the heart around them. I also doodled tiny white dots along the edge of the circle. I LOVE this chalk marker, so much easier than a gel pen! To make the edge trim-I punched a piece of Strawberry Slush paper and trimmed it to be ~3/4" wide. I then ran it through my crimper. To be able to get around the curves more easily, I used scissors to snip every 1/4" or so just like you do when pinning somethin to sew around a curve and then used sticky strip to attach this to my back. Because the top was going to show, I added another circle to the backside to cover over the added trim. Stamped, punched and sponged my sentiment, layered on the brown sugar oval and stapled on a ribbon. I then popped this over the main circle. Because I had to punch two strips of paper (should have used a 12" piece knowing my circle was so big) I had some leftover trim so I added this on the lower edge of the dp which I also sponged with a bit of Soft Suede. My base is a 4 1/4"x 8 1/2" piece scored and folded to a 4 1/4" base and has had white woodgrain added with the Timber wheel.
